Instructions to Root Lg Optimus one P500 Gingerbread(2.3.3)


                                                     [ Method 1]

Required:

First of all, grab root package from the link 

And download needed driver pack and install on pc then reboot pc

Enable usb debugging mode by going to settings>applications>developer
Extract root.rar to safe place like desktop
Go to ADB folder , if you are on window 7 run cmd7.exe  OR  if you are using Windows xp then run cmdXP.exe .
After starting cmd7 or cmdXP, type following commands


adb devices
then

adb shell
(symbol will change to $ or #) and copy paste following command into your terminal

echo 1 > /data/local/lge_adb.conf


After doing this, Reboot your phone
Now go to root folder on desktop again, and start SuperOneClick.exe
Select GingerBreak method and press root button
Wait few seconds and its done.


If you wish update superuser app from android market.

. Read everything first and after do what is necessary:

INSTALLING ANDROID SDK ON YOUR WINDOWS PC from here
Don’t forget to restart your PC after installations. LG Phone Problem and Solution
2. Download and install SuperOneClick. You can download the tool from here.
3. In adb type:
adb devices
adb shell
echo 1 > /data/local/lge_adb.conf
After that open SuperOneClick and root using pneuter. Reboot phone and update Superuser from Market.
This instruction works fine on my LG Optimus One, I had some problems updating superuser. it works fine

In Method 1, I downloaded (root) and (driver). I tried to install (driver) in pc. When trying to install, it is showing no response. No process is showing as running.
Plz suggest solution.

did you install your drivers properly.. and checked USB debugging?
drivers and USB debugging plays a major role here...

it shows access denied after any command in after adb shell

following error comes wen i click on ROOT button after opening superoneclick.exe
Unhandled Exception: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. & IT ASKS TO CONTINUE OR QUIT? when i click continue nothin happens..
wt to do bro.????…pls help ASAP..I COMPLETED PREVIOUS STEPS SUCESSFULLY..

hi,

i too got the same problem. i am using windows 7 home premium (please dont tell to try on xp). did you get the solution for that issue.
apart from the above problem, i am getting access denied after running "adb shell" command.
please reply fast.

i have successfully rooted my phone but still i am unable to uninstall the pre-downloaded apps. kindly help as soon as possible.

access denied means you dont have proper drivers and if you have installed all ur mobile drivers make sure u indtalled jdk properly(if these doesnt help then you have to switch to xp... I would say coz i tried only on xp...)

You cant simply uninstall download a root uninstaller from market or use titanium backup to unistall
